In Wings of Destiny, you can equip cards to equipment pieces to give your character bonuses. Cards are divided by grade (C - Green, B - Blue, A - Purple, S - Orange) and star rank (I, II, III, IV, etc.) As you upgrade the star rank of your cards, the bonuses are improved.

Here's a guide that should help you understand how it all works.

Power Surge
[W]  10% chance to inflict additional MDMG when attacking or using skills. [Ar] 10% chance to inflict MDMG when taking damage. [Ac] Increases INT.
Sinister Strength
[W]  10% chance to increase ATK when attacking or using skills. Lasts 8 secs. [Ar] 10% chance to increase DEF when taking damage. Lasts 8 secs. [Ac] Increases ATK and DEF.
Spell Lock
[W]  Drain MP from a target when attacking or using spells. [Ar] 10% chance of draining X MP from your attacker when taking damage. [Ac] Increases Max MP.
Swift
[W]  8% chance to increase CRIT. [Ar] 8% chance to increase EVA. [Ac] Increases EVA and CRIT.


Grade B Cards []

Black Death 15% chance to decrease a target's DEF and MDEF when attacking or using skills. Lasts a few seconds. 15% chance to decrease a target's ATK and MATK when taking damage.  Lasts a few seconds. Increases CRIT DMG.
Blood Feast 10% chance of converting a % of damage taken into HP when attacking or using skills. 10% chance of regaining HP upon being attacked. Increases Max HP.
Dark Flame Increases ATK each time a skill is used. Last a few seconds. Buff effects may stack a few times. Increases DEF each time a skill is used. Last a few seconds. Buff effects may stack a few times. Increases ATK and DEF.
Double Take Grants a 6% chance of increasing your DMG when attacking or using skills. Lasts a few seconds.

Grant a 6% chance to decrease damage taken from enemy targets when using skills. Lasts a few seconds.

Increases Max HP and Max MP.
Fury Grants a chance of increasing STR when attacking or using skills. Lasts a few seconds. Grants a chance of increasing VIT when taking damage. Lasts a few seconds. Increases STR and VIT.
Shield Deals bonus damage to a target when attacking or using skills. Reflect a % of damage taken to your attacker. Increases DEF and MDEF.
Silence Grants a chance of inflicting Silenced status on a target when attacking or using skills. Lasts a few seconds. Grants a chance of inflicting Silenced status on your attacker when taking damage. Lasts a few seconds. Increases DEX.
Tendrils of War

Grants a chance of increasing INT when attacking or using a skill. Lasts a few seconds.

Grants a chance of increasing SPI when taking damage. Lasts a few seconds. Increases INT and SPI.
Voodoo Increases MATK each time a skill is used. Lasts 6 seconds. Buff effect may stack a few times. Increases MDEF each time a skill is used. Lasts 6 seconds. Buff effect may stack a few times. Increases MATK and MDEF.


Grade A Cards[]

Earth Guard Has a chance to cast a shield, absorbing DMG equal to a % of HP for 6 seconds. Effect triggers once every 20 seconds. Has a % chance to negate all attacks for 3 seconds. Effect triggers once every 15 seconds. Increase Max HP, END and MP Regen.
Flaming Skies Reduces target's DEF and MDEF for 4 seconds with every attack or when casting skills. Also inflicts Dazed on target for 2.5 seconds when effect stacks up to a certain amount. Has a % chance to deal crititcal damage in the next attack if hit by enemy. Increases ATK, MATK and HIT.
Storm Assault Casts a constricting tornado and reduces target's ATK and MATK for a few seconds. Can be stacked up to 5 times. Has a chance to remove all debuffs when hit. Also increases Movement Speed for a few seconds. Increases MDEF, CRIT DMG and EVA.
Sword of Rule Ignores a % of enemy DMG reduction when attacking. Reflects DMG back to source and adds an insignia. When target has 6 insignias, it's DMG taken will increase by a % for a few seconds. Increases INT and STR.
Tremor Grants a chance to inflict Dazed status to a target when attacking or using skills. Lasts a few seconds. Grants a chance to reflect any damage taken from an enemy back to its source. Increases VIT
Vengeance Grants a chance to decrease target's SPD when attacking or using skills. Grants a chance to increase your speed when taking damage. Lasts a few seconds. Increases SPD.
Wave Surge Has a chance to reduce target's Max HP when attacking or casting skills for a few seconds. Effect triggers every few seconds. Has a chance to negate DMG once when attacked and gain HP equal to a % of DMG. Increases DEF, Max MP and HP Regen.
Zen Grants a chance to reset all Skills Cooldowns when using skills. Grants a chance to negate all damage when attacked. Increases all EXP gained from monster kills.


Grade S Cards[]

Assassin's Note Marks a target with an insignia when attacking. Each insignia inflicts DMG to the target and last a few seconds. When the target has 5 insignias, it will suffer bonus DMG. Has a % chance to grant Pierce buff if attacked. The first 2 attacks within x seconds will ignore target's DEF buffs (invincible, DMG reduction); activates every x seconds. Increases ATK, MATK and CRIT DMG by a %.
Blood Moon Has a % chance of dealing dmg (DEF+MDEF)x % over time while attacking or using skills for X sec. Has a % chance to reduce own DEF and MDEF by XX% but increase ATK and MATK by XX%. Lasts for X sec. Effect may trigger once every XX sec. Increases STR, INT, VIT by XX%.
Blue Blood Grants a % chance of activating Blue Blood when attacking, dealing a % of additional damage and making the next two attacks on the target deal Critical DMG. Last a few seconds, Triggers every few seconds. Grants a % chance of activating Blue Blood when attacked, removing debuffs and reducing the enemy's DMG RED by a %. Last a few seconds, Triggers every few seconds. Increases DEF, MDEF, and CRIT DMG by a %.
Evil Scheme Has a 10% chance while attacking or using a skill to inflict [A] extra damage to the target and reduce its DMG by [B]% for 5 seconds. Effect triggers every 15 seconds. Has a [C]% chance to increase DMG and healing by [D] for 6 seconds when attacked. Effect triggers every 12 seconds. Increases healing, Max MP,  and CRIT DMG by [E]%.
Faith Pike % chance while attacking or using skills to silence target and deal dmg equal to % of your HP every second. Lasts for X sec. Effect may trigger once every XX sec. There is a % chance when attacked to increase ATK, MATK, DEF and MDEF by %. Lasts for XX sec. Effect may trigger once every XX sec. Increases ATK, MTK and SPI by %

Hyakki Night

(Card cannot be enhanced)

10% chance while attacking or using skills to transform an enemy player into a small animal, reducing their DEF and MDEF by 25%. Lasts for 6 seconds. Has a 10% chance to transform into the Halloween Fiend while being attacked.Increases ATK and MATK by 15% each for 6 seconds. Increases STR, INT, and SPI by 1,000.
Musou Warcry Deals additional damage when attacking or using skills. Reduces target's ability to heal. Chance to reflect all damage when attacked for a few seconds. Replenishes a % of Max HP every few seconds. Increases STR, INT, SPI, and VIT.
Prophecy Has a % chance while attacking or using skills to inflict a % of (ATK + MATK) DMG on target. Has a % chance of inflicting DMG on target equal to a % of your own Max HP. Increase Symbiosis benefits by a %. 
Star Shatter
(Card cannot be enhanced)
Has 5% chance to deal CRIT DMG for the next 3 attacks when attacking or casting spells.  Ignores 50% of target's DMG RED for 8 sec.  Effect triggers once every 20 sec.  Has 5% chance to Summon Seal Guardian when hit.  Guardian increases damage by 20% for 10sec.  Increase DEF, MDEF and END by 25% 
Trial by Fire When the target attacks or uses a spell, they lose mp and take dmg. Has an % chance when attacked to inflict Dazed upon the attacker and deal dmg to them. Effect lasts Xsec. Effect triggers once every XXsec. Increase STR, INT, END by XX%

Getting Cards[]

Cards can be obtained in 4 different ways:

  • By drawing cards (cash feature):
    • Open the "Card" menu (click on the purple card icon at the bottom of the screen in your toolbar or press shortcut key "7").
    • At the "Draw" tab, you can buy up to 3 random star I cards of random grades with cash. At first, all cards are unrevealed. Once you click on one of the cards, the card you bought and the other 2 cards are revealed. The first card you buy costs 15 cash, the 2nd, 30 cash and the 3rd, 60 cash. The cards you receive will be unbound and therefore can be traded/sold to other players (read the next point...)
  • From other players through the Auction (shortcut letter "I"), by advertising in "Channel" or "World" to all players on the server or by trading with your guildmates/friends. Be careful...if "Bound" appears on a card, it means it can't be sent by mail.
  • From card boxes (Card Box A, Card Box B, Card Box C) obtained from your login rewards, the mall (sold for battle points), upper levels of Warrior's Trial, and various special events.
  • From IGG website events: Some cards (especially the Grade S cards) are obtained as rewards from events announced in the upper portion of the WoD interface. Cash purchases might be required to participate in these events.

How to Fuse Cards[]

"Fuse Cards" Tab

Fusion is the process by which you upgrade a card by 1 star rank by combining 3 or 4 cards of the same grade (C, B, A or S) and rank. The Star Rank of a card is expressed in Roman numerals (I, II, III, IV, etc. ) and the highest possible rank is "IX" (9).

The picture to the right is an example of a 4-card Shield III card fusion with a Lv 1 Lucky Rune (+10% success rate) and a 2% success rate guild bonus.


Here is how it works:


First, open your Cards menu and select the Fuse tab. In this tab, you have the option of fusing cards to increase their star rank and have better bonuses. 

Then, click on the cards you want to use for the card fusion. The first card you click on will be the one that will be upgraded to a higher star rank.

To increase a card's rank, you can either fuse:

  • 4 different cards of the same grade and star rank.
Example: Arcane Energy I + Massacre I + Sinister Strength I + Swift I -----> Arcane Energy II
  • OR 3 same cards of the same star rank.
Example: Arcane Energy I + Arcane Energy I + Arcane Energy I -----> Arcane Energy II

Once you have the right combination of cards, the Fuse button will activate by turning orange. Click that button and there you have it: a new fused card! (...hopefully, that is. Keep reading for more info)


Success Rate Bonuses[]

The success of your fusion depends on the star rank of the card and other bonuses:

  • When fusing cards to star rank II or III, the success rate will always be 100%. 
  • When fusing cards to level IV or better, the base rate of success decreases.


Here's how you can increase the success rate:

  • As a member of a guild, you can benefit from the Card Fusion guild skill, which gives you +2% bonus success rate per skill level.
  • Also, you can use Lucky Runes to increase the success rate of your fusion by 10% per rune level.


Cost of Fusion[]

The cost in coins depends on the star rank (I, II, III, IV, etc.) of the upgraded card. The fact that 3 or 4 cards are used or the grade (C, B or A) does not have an impact on the cost.

To put it all together, the table below lists the costs and the base success rates of the fusions according to star rank:

Sealing Cards[]

In WoD, STAR (cash) players also have the option of sealing (or "un-binding") cards, which removes the "Bound" text on a card and allows you to trade/sell cards.

Cards LeftClickOptions

To do this, go to your bag and left-click on the bound card you wish to seal (see the picture to the left).

From the available options, select the "Seal" option. This option only appears on bound cards.

Cost to seal a card Any Lvl = 400 cash (C,B,A)
